A lifelong fiction writer, Isabel Harding grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Agnes Scott College with a B.A. in English and French. After college, she lived in Paris, where she participated in writing workshops at the legendary Shakespeare and Co.
Following her time abroad, Isabel earned her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota, with Charles Baxter and Julie Schumacher acting as her primary mentors and advisors. She served as the 2015-2016 Emerging Writer-in-Residence at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Isabel currently lives in Minneapolis. She works as a teaching artist at the Loft Literary Center, a proofreader, a substitute teacher, and a bookseller at The Irreverent Bookworm. Her body of work includes a novel, short stories, and a novel-in-progress.
