August 24, 2023 – I have a new story out in Barely South Review, called “Elegy”: https://barelysouthreview.com/elegy/. It was featured in their first themed issue, on “Friendship & Loss.” The story is a tribute to friends who died during the pandemic (but not necessarily because of the virus).
Here’s a link to the library scene in Wings of Desire, which plays a role in the story.
